Abstract:
The systematic error in experiments concerning searching for the electric dipole moment of an electron due to the Stark interference between the $E$1 and $M$1 amplitudes of the transition from the $H^3\Delta_1$ state to $C^1\Pi$ of a ThO molecule has been calculated. The calculations show that the error is about three orders of magnitude lower than the current limitation on the electric dipole moment of electron.
