Abstract: The design of simulation experiments for comparing elevators control strategies in a high-rise building is considered. Model parameters are control algorithms, not the values of individual parameters. A design pattern is proposed for the simulator that allows both trivially to add control strategies and create new control strategies based on already developed ones.
Keywords: elevators control strategy, simulator, simulation experiment, comparison of alternatives.
