Electrostatic field of overvoltage limiter calculation by addition theorems method

Abstract: The electrostatic field calculation in toroidal screens of high-voltage power line overvoltage limiter is considered. The calculation is implemented by addition theorems method. The algebraic equations for calculations of coefficients of screen potential expansion in terms of toroidal functions are obtained. The way of storm-cloud charge influence on electrostatic field near the limiter accounting is described. The field of obtained results application is analyzed too.
