Abstract:
The effect of mechanical vibration on the optical transmission of the infrared fibers of the AgCl$_{0.25}$Br$_{0.75}$ and AgCl$_{0.5}$Br$_{0.5}$ compositions for 30 h has been studied. It has been shown that the vibration causes a decrease in the transmission of the fibers. The selective nature of the transmission of the infrared fibers in the wavelength ranges 2.0–4.0 and 6.0–9.0 $\mu$m has been found.
