Abstract: A comprehensive study of biosensors for $\beta$-amyloid and $\tau$-protein marker detection based on graphene films obtained by thermal decomposition of semi-insulating SiC has shown the possibility of doubling the biosensor response without using graphene functionalization. It has been found that one of the reasons for the low reproducibility of detection results and the decrease in the biosensor response is the aggregation of antibodies and proteins in defective areas of graphene.
Keywords: nanomaterials, graphene, biosensors, Alzheimer's disease.
