Abstract:
It is shown that colloidal solutions of semiconductor InP and GaAs nanowires can be used as optical limiters of laser radiation at the wavelengths of 532 and 1064 nm. It is shown that the limiting characteristics of colloidal solutions of InP and GaAs may be enhanced considerably through the use of hybrid systems based on nanowires and colloidal quantum dots.
