Abstract:
The results of studying the peculiarities of use of a fiber-optic Mach–Zehnder interferometer for creating deformometers with extended gage length intended for monitoring the state of large-scale objects are presented. It is shown that the use of a multicoil sensing element provides the possibility of varying its sensitivity and contributes to reduction in the fading of the deformometer’s output signal.
