Measuring of critical density of heat flow during boiling of nanoliquids on a cylindrical heater

Abstract:
Saturated boiling of nanoliquids on a cylindrical heater is experimentally studied. The studied nanoliquids were prepared using distilled water and Fe$_3$O$_4$ iron oxide or diamond nanoparticles. The volume concentration of the nanoparticles was changed from 0.25 to 1%. It has been measured that the critical density of heat flow in nanoliquids is far higher than in water. Moreover, it depends on size of nanoparticles.
