Abstract:
We have experimentally studied the dependence of the diffraction efficiency of nonoblique transmission holograms in a $(\overline{11}0)$-cut Bi$_{12}$TiO$_{20}$ photorefractive crystal on the orientation angle. For theoretical explanation of the obtained results, it is necessary to assume that the crystal contains amplitude gratings in addition to the phase gratings.
