Pulsations of location of the bow shock as a result of strong MHD interaction during the hypersonic flow around the plate

Abstract:
It was shown in [1] that an attached oblique shock is transformed into a detached normal shock during a strong magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) interaction on a plate in a hypersonic flow at M = 6 as the magnetic field induction increases. In this study, we consider the mode of flowing around the plate, which is interesting because of the appearance of pulsations of the bow shock location with hydromagnetic interaction parameter $S\ge$ 0.2.
