On asymptotics of spectra for one quantum optic scattering problem

Joint work with Masha Lapik and Yurii Orlov. We consider a special system of discrete orthogonal polynomials which is a generalization of the Krawtchouk polynomials. The limiting distribution of the mass points of the orthogonality measure is obtained. We discuss a conjecture on the limiting distribution of the values of the masses of the orthogonality measure.
