Four-dimensional Galois representations of Calabi-Yau type

We will discuss four-dimensional analogs of some problems known for elliptic curves. We'll look at the analytic continuation of L-functions, the functional equation, the conjectures of Deligne and Bloch-Kato. We will also consider a new phenomenon, the existence of bi-congruences.
