On the applicability of approximate analytical solutions to the Poiseuille flow problem in flat channels with rough walls.

Approximate analytical formulas for calculating the pressure drop during laminar fluid flow in a flat channel with a high level of roughness of its banks are considered. Popular approaches for constructing simplified flow models, the limited scope of their applicability and the introduced errors are shown.
