Quantum droplets and cat-like states in Atomic-Molecular BoseEinstein Condensates (AMBECs)

Abstract: We investigate atomic-molecular Bose-Einstein condensates (AMBECs) within a mean-field framework. A wide class of exact solutions to the coupled equations is obtained, revealing the existence of quantum droplets and Schrödinger cat-like states. We explore the roles of quadratic and cubic nonlinearities, which arise from atom-molecule interconversion and scattering effects, respectively. Wigner functions are used to illustrate phase-space interference, leading to cat-like structures in the atomic domain and squeezing in the molecular wave packets.
