Nanosecond iodine laser with an output energy of 200 J
V. A. Katulin, V. Yu. Nosach, A. L. Petrov
Abstract:
A description is given of an iodine photodissociation laser with an output energy of 200 J in the form of pulses of 1 nsec duration and ~2×10–4 rad divergence. The final amplifying stages are pumped with ultraviolet radiation produced by a high-current discharge in the working gas.
