Amplitude- and phase-frequency characteristics of a YAG:Nd3+ laser with intracavity second harmonic generation

V. G. Dmitriev, V. K. Novokreshchenov
Abstract: An analysis is made of the amplitude and phase of small fluctuations of the fundamental-frequency and second-harmonic power experienced by a YAG:Nd3+ laser in the case of small fluctuations of the losses and nonlinear coupling coefficient. It is shown that the amplitude- and phase-frequency characteristics of this laser are basically different from those observed in the absence of second harmonic generation.
