A review is given of the papers presented at the "Laser 75" International Conference on optoelectronics and laser applications, held in Munich on June 24–27, 197S. The main subjects at this Conference were optoelectronic components and displays and laser applications in nuclear energy technology, medicine, communications, metrology and defectoscopy, environmental measuring techniques, and data processing.
