Influence of temperature on the luminescence spectrum of blue-green algae

Abstract: An investigation was made of the influence of temperature on the luminescence spectrum of blue-green singlecell algae in water. It was found that the relative intensity of the maxima changed by 30% when temperature was increased from 0 to 23 °C. This dependence could be used for remote determination of the temperature of water.
