New lasing lines in the visible and infrared parts of the spectrum of a thulium vapor laser

Abstract: New lasing lines were observed in the orange (λ = 589.948 nm) and near infrared (λ = 1101.1 nm) parts of the spectrum on excitation of Tm vapor by a pulsed discharge. The infrared lasing lines were identified.
