Abstract:
An experimental investigation was made of the characteristics of an He–Ne ring laser stabilized by phase resonances at the 0.63 μ wavelength. It was highly efficient to use lasing phase resonances as frequency reference points and a frequency stability of 2×10–11 was obtained with an averaging time of 1–10 sec.
