Lasers

Numerical calculation of the output radiation of a continuous-flow gas-discharge CO2 laser from the measured field of the unsaturated gain

G. V. Gadiyak, A. L. Dobrivskiĭ, K. A. Nasyrov
Abstract: It is shown that the characteristics of a continuous-flow gas-discharge CO2 laser can be calculated by reconstructing the volume distribution of the discharge power from the experimentally determined field of the unsaturated gain. A comparison is made of the calculated field of the radiation intensity and of the output power of the laser with experimental results.
