Biochemical effect of laser radiation

A. N. Oraevsky, P. G. Pleshanov
Abstract: A review is given of mechanisms of selective laser action on biochemical processes. Attention is drawn to reactions accompanied by conformational molecular transformations. These reactions require a low activation energy and may be initiated by small doses of laser radiation. An analysis is made of the rates of various processes in active molecules responsible for conversion of laser radiation energy absorbed by macromolecules.
