Abstract: It was found that overlapping of the pulses on the time scale and a spatial inhomogeneity of the amplified radiation reduced, like stimulated Brillouin scattering, the output energy of 10–7 s pulses amplified in a multipass neodymium glass amplifier. Methods for eliminating the influence of these factors were proposed and implemented.
