N. S. Zefirov, N. M. Shekhtman

Lomonosov Moscow State University, Faculty of Chemistry
Abstract: One of the problems of dynamic stereochemistry and conformational analysis – the anomeric effect – is surveyed, and is shown to be a general conformational phenomenon occurring widely in acyclic and heterocyclic compounds. A theoretical discussion is given of the nature of this effect.
The bibliography comprises 189 references.
