Abstract:
New data on the numbers of active centres and rate constants for individual stages in the catalytic polymerisation of olefins in the presence of two-component catalysts, obtained by the method of selective radioactive inhibitors, are considered. Certain general aspects of the mechanism of the catalytic polymerisation of olefins are examined on the basis of these data as well as the results of the study of one-component organometallic catalysts and quantum-chemical investigations of the propagation reaction. The bibliography includes 102 references.
