Abstract: Some aspects of the reactivity of cyclopalladated complexes with phosphorus donor atoms are discussed, in particular, the routes of modification of the metal coordination environment in phosphapalladacycles by means of diverse auxiliary ligands; the transformations of phosphapalladacycles involving the Pd–C bond; the modification of phosphapalladacycles with retention of the Pd–C bond; and dechelation and destruction of phosphapalladacycles. The regiochemistry of ligand coordination to PC-palladacycles is considered from the standpoint of the trans-effect of the P- and C-donor atoms of the palladacycle.
