Synthetic aspects of the chemistry of p,π-unsaturated amines

I. A. Maretina

Leningrad Technological Institute
Abstract: The review covers the reactivity of enamines and ynamines of vinylacetylene series in electrophilic and nucleophilic addition with participation of mono- and bi-functionalised reagents. Amines of this type are synthons for preparing five-, six-, seven- and eight-membered rings with two heteroatoms as well as condensed ring systems. The effect of the structure of the acetylenic compound on the mode of interaction has been analysed. Special features of the intra- and inter-molecular pathways of the reaction were discussed. Peculiarities of cycloaddition of all three types of amines with the participation of polar aprotic systems containing multiple bonds as well as 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition are noted. The bibliography contains 108 references.
