A systolic architecture for implementing the arithmetic of cryptographic algorithms on elliptic curves
A. A. Tiunchick Institute of Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus
Abstract:
A special-purpose systolic array for implementing operations on elliptic curves (the addition, the multiplication, the calculation of the opposite element) and a time-consuming exponentiation operation in a binary field is designed. The design is based on a systolic array for the multiplication in a normal basis. The design of this systolic array does not depend on the choice of a concrete normal basis.
