Study of a model for the interaction of a nonrelativistic particle with a scalar quantized field by the method of functional integration

Abstract:
The polaron Green function is investigated by the continual integration methods in the scope of staight-line paths approximation. A comparison is made of the results of various functional approximations when the Green function vacuum average is calculated and the first corrections to the leading term are investigated.
