Abstract: The article deals with issues related to the setting of values of the dynamic viscosity of liquid steel based on the conducted high-temperature rheological measurements. Issues of the viscosity and rheological properties of liquid ferrous solutions are important from the perspective of modeling, and also control of actual production processes related to the manufacturing and casting of metals, including iron and steel. In the last part of the study, two mathematical relationships are presented—developed on the basis of data from the conducted experiments—serving for calculation of liquid steel dynamic viscosity.
