Strong shock waves in a nonideal plasma

Abstract: The physical characteristics of the shock waves produced in the plasma focus zone of an erosion-type magnetoplasma compressor and a method for obtaining a plane stable shock wave in strongly nonideal plasmas with different chemical compositions are discussed.
