Automated system of psychological testing of students at secondary and higher educational institutions

Abstract:
While choosing the tests and developing the algorithms for the automated system, the psychological parameters obtained together with the staff of the Astrakhan State Medical University were taken into account. The system is a set of the well-known psychological tests, upgraded for students. A student works with the information system, regularly having the tests, and a psychologist — for getting general psychological picture of the student, class and school. Using the output of the system will allow the psychologist to improve the educational process in educational institutions of secondary and higher professional education. The structure of the automated system that includes a description of the data store, use case diagram and a sequence diagram of the data processing unit, the main participants of the process and the relationships between them is presented. Intellectual property is protected by a certificate of official registration of the computer software. The advantage of the system is a comprehensive approach to the evaluation of the students' psychological indicators. For the evaluation of the results you do not need to involve a psychologist, his task is to make and upgrade the tests. The experimental results showed that about 43 % of students need a further depth examination using an individual set of diagnostic instruments, depending on the results of the passed test.
