Using a priori comparative information in hydraulic conductivity identification problems

A. V. Elesin, A. Sh. Kadyrova

Research Institute of Mechanics and Machinery of Kazan Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences
Abstract: A new algorithm for the minimization of the residual function with consideration of a priori comparative information on parameter values is proposed. The algorithm is used for the numerical solution of a model problem of hydraulic conductivity identification for a three-dimensional anisotropic confined aquifer. Several algorithms constructed with and without using a priori comparative information are compared.
Keywords: identification problem, pressure stratum, fluid filtration, ill-posed problems, regularization methods.
