Implementation of vectorized finite-difference algorithms for solving boundary value problems of fluid and gas mechanics with MATLAB package

K. N. Volkov, V. N. Emelyanov

Baltic State Technical University, St. Petersburg
Abstract: An approach to organization of vectorized computations and implementation of finite-difference methods for solving boundary value problems of fluid and gas mechanics with MATLAB package is considered. A number of specific examples are given and some features of software implementations of computational algorithms developed are discussed.
Keywords: boundary value problems, vectorized algorithms, programming, software packages for numerical mathematics, fluid dynamics.
