Experimental studies of swirling flow aerodynamics in an air-centrifugal classifier
P. N. Zyatikov Tomsk State University
Abstract:
Distribution of the components of the carrying flow velocity vector in the separating element of the air-centrifugal powder classifier with capacity of up to 2000 kg/h (VPO-1000) was studied experimentally. The results of the experimental studies complement the mathematical model of rotor aerodynamics of a turbulent flow in a profiled rotating separator element and make it possible to analyze the flow in the separation zone.
Keywords:
turbulent swirling flow, separation zone, initial twist, profile of a channel, circumferential and radial velocity components, experimental bench, ball probe, dust and gas stream.
