Abstract: This article describes the formulation of the connected hydro-elastic problem for a thin elastic-deformed profile in a bounded flow of heavy fluid for different fixings of edges and the development of an efficient method for calculation of the hydrodynamic characteristics and deformations of the profile. An investigation of how wave generation and elastic properties influence on profile stability in a flow has been carried out.
