Experimental and computational method of determining nonlinear aerodynamic characteristics of a sharp cone

Abstract:
Nonlinear aerodynamic characteristics of a sharp cone are estimated using trajectory data for bodies freely flying in the atmospheric environment. To construct a calculation algorithm, the problem is analyzed as an inverse problem for differential equations. Results of the estimation of aerodynamic characteristics of a sharp cone at Mach numbers $M=2$ are presented.
