Abstract: An X-Com metacomputing system is a software toolkit for an organization of distributed heterogeneous computational environments and performing computations in such environments. In this paper the architectural solutions applied in the X-Com system of last generation and aimed to improving of scalability and efficiency of distributed computations are discussed.
