Abstract:
It is shown that any real analytic solution can be continued to a globally meromorphic function of the spatial variable $x$ at each fixed value of the time variable $t$. In the totally focusing case, it is also shown that any local real analytic solution can be extended to a real analytic function on a maximum strip that is parallel to the axis $x$ and depends on the solution.
