On the use of iterative nethods when realizing implicit difference schemes of two-dimensional magnetohydrodynamics

Abstract:
Implicit operator difference schemes on triangular meshes, approximating the systems of equations of magnetohydrodynamics and of gas dynamics with heat conduction, are considered in the linear acoustic approximation. The convergence of the iterative methods used to solve the mesh problmes obtained at each time step is analyzed. It is shown that an iterative parameter can be introduced, ensuring unconditional convergence of the methods.
