Investigations in the theory of differentiable functions of many variables and its applications. Part 17
Collection of articles
Editor: S. M. Nikol'skii Managing editor: E. F. Mishchenko
Abstract: The collection is devoted to the investigations, in different actual directions, of the theory of differentiable
functions in many variables and its applications to differential equations. In particular, new results are
presented concerning the theory of embeddings of spaces of differentiable functions in many variables, the
theory of interpolation of function spaces, the properties of the traces of series of the mean-value functions
of the second-order differences, the theory of the Fourier–Walsh series, the Fourier–Bessel transformations.
Essential generalizations of the classical Paley–Wiener–Schwartz theorems are obtained. The solution of the
modified Dirichlet problem by the rapid block method is given and the geometrical properties of an approximate
conformai mapping of a doubly connected polygon onto a ring are investigated.
The collection is recommended to scientific reseachers, students and post-graduate students specializing
in functions theory and its applications.
