The volume is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Academician Andrei Gennad'evich Kulikovskii, an outstanding scientist in the field of mechanics. In the articles presented in the volume, the authors study a wide range of problems and construct mathematical models of modern analytical and continuum mechanics, including fluid mechanics, gas dynamics and magnetohydrodynamics, the theory of elasticity, and the theory of fluid motion considering physical and chemical processes. In particular, the problems addressed in the articles are related to the study of various aspects of the theory of dynamical systems and stability of nonconservative systems, to the mathematical analysis of wave motions in dispersive and dissipative media, to the theory of motion of liquids and gases in porous media, to the theory of plasma stability in a magnetic field, and to the study of the properties of exact solutions in Newtonian and relativistic gas dynamics and in the theory of motion of relaxing liquids such as aqueous polymers. The articles in the volume present new results and are authored by major specialists in the field of mechanics and mathematics.
