Collection of works deals with different actual trends in theory of differentiable functions of many variables and its applications. There are studied different spaces of differentiable functions of many real variables, imbeddings, equivalent normalizations, weighted estimates of derivatives, traces on subsets. Different questions of approximation for function spaces on real line, on hyperboloide, on Lobachevskii space are considered. Investigations on bilinear approximations are applied to estimation of singular numbers and widths of integral operators. Asymptotics of spectrum for degenerate elliptic systems, external variational Dirichlet problem for degenerate elliptic operator are studied; block method of approximate solution of Laplace equation for nouanalytical boundary values is developed.
