Abstract: The volume is dedicated to Andrei Mikhailovich Zubkov, the Head of the Department of Discrete Mathematics at the Steklov Mathematical Institute, on the occasion of his 75th birthday, and to Vladimir Alekseevich Vatutin, a Leading Research Fellow at the Steklov Mathematical Institute, on the occasion of his 70th birthday. The papers presented in this volume explore various classes of branching processes such as Galton–Watson processes, random forests, branching processes in varying and random environments, branching random walks, and superprocesses. In addition, the volume includes articles on sums of random indicators, equivalent tuples in Markov chains, random mappings, regenerative sequences, random Young diagrams, and $k$-configurations.
