Theory and methods ol designing automatic regulators
G. V. Schipanov
Abstract:
The article defines the problems of automatic regulation. The part played by the regulator attached to the machine or used in the process is being established. The main problem of the regulator is defined as the соmpensatiоn of the effect on the regulated parameter of perturbing forces. As regards these forces it is specified that they are to be represented in a most general way: $f(t)$. Regulators are classified according to the number of their freedom stages.
The aim of this work was to propound a theory of automatic regulators suitable for compounding design and calculation equations. Such equations are derived, their application being demonstrated on examples of building actual regulators.
To solve this problem aspecial symbolic methоd is adopted for representing differential equations of movement.
As a result of the investigation it is found that the best regulator of one parameter is the three freedom stage regulator. A scheme of such a regulator is illustrated.
As a general result two fundamental theorems of automatic regulation are set forth.
