Control of connecting a stand-by instrument in indirect observations of a queue

A. M. Gortsev

Tomsk
Abstract: The paper is concerned with connection of a stand-by instrument into a single-line servicing system on the knowledge of indirect observations of the queue. This is the case where direct observation is either impossible or if the queue is observed with noises; in other words, for control of connecting a stand-by instrument a certain quantity stochastically related to the queue length is observed.
