Abstract: This paper commemorates the seventy-fifth anniversary of Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Vasily Ivanovich Bernik. His curriculum vitae is presented, together with a brief analysis of his work in scientific research, education and management. 13 major scientific papers of V.I. Bernik are referenced.
