Experimental and numerical investigations of X-ray impulse influence on the liquid wall of IFE reactor chamber

Abstract:
In this work the shock wave propagation through the liquid lead wall is modeling by the use of experimental explosion data of trinitrotoluene. The explosion parameters were compared with the thermonuclear explosion mechanical influence on the first wall of IFE reactor chamber. The hydrodynamic modeling method for the damage description is investigated with the use of real equation of state for the wall material.
