Abstract: Dynamic tensiometry has been applied to a comparative study of the kinetics of adsorption of cationic polysoaps (alkylated chitosans) and dynamic associates (surfactant–polyelectrolyte complexes, SPECs) between chitosan and the anionic surfactant SDS at the air–water interface.
