Infrared and EPR spectra of F2NO radicals stabilised in solid argon

Abstract:
The F2NO radical has been formed by addition reactions of two F atoms with NO in solid argon, and using a combination of EPR and infrared absorption spectroscopy, we have identified this species and characterised its vibrational spectrum for the first time.
